Supporting Refugee Children

Join us for an engaging and informative one-hour session designed to deepen your understanding of the refugee experience and the critical work of the Scottish Refugee Council. This session will cover essential topics such as the reasons people flee their homes, the protection routes available, and the asylum process—especially the unique challenges faced by children. You'll gain insights into the transition to refugee status, the impact of trauma on children, and practical ways you can provide support. We will also have time for Q&A at the end of the session.

We have Susi Latham from the Scottish Refugee Council delivering this session for us.

This session is for AHDS members only and is free to attend. This will take place from 4 - 5pm.
