Leader Burnout and Wellbeing

Join Jenna McCormick, leadership expert and psychometric facilitator, for a practical session on leader burnout, wellbeing, and managing stress in the workplace.

The pressures of leadership can make stress feel constant and leave little space to recover. This session explores how leaders can recognise and respond to signs of stress and burnout in themselves and others, protect their own wellbeing, and establish healthier boundaries. Jenna will share practical, accessible strategies that can be applied in the workplace, while encouraging participants to consider the wider cultural changes needed to create healthier, more sustainable working environments.

What you will learn:

  • Recognise the early warning signs of stress and burnout in yourself and others
  • The core components of self-awareness, including emotional intelligence, self-reflection, and behavioural patterns
  • Why self-awareness is essential for decision-making, leadership, resilience, and wellbeing
  • Practical techniques to develop self-awareness at both individual and organisational levels
  • How to encourage openness, psychological safety, and continuous growth
  • Actionable tools to help people feel valued, accepted, and heard at work
