This
session will offer guidance and advice on the practicalities of creating your
school Working Time Agreement.
It will offer a reminder of the core principles of the WTA, advice on where
this information can be found and will suggest ways in which this can be shared
with all teachers.
The session will also highlight the importance of this Collegiate process as a means of managing teacher workload and protecting the health & wellbeing of all. It will provide an opportunity to reflect on your own WTA procedures, to identify the positive elements and consider those that may be obstacles to successful outcomes. It will explore common issues that arise around WTAs and share some possible solutions to overcome these.
(Please note: The main aim of this session is to deliver content for your reference. While there will be time given over for general questions, we would suggest that any individual queries/concerns specific to your school are discussed directly with your Area Officer following the session to enable them to offer you further guidance and/or support as required.)
Delivered by Aileen Spence, AHDS Area Officer, this session is for AHDS members only, is free to attend and will run from 4 - 5pm on 18th March.
