We are delighted to welcome the new Cabinet Secretary for Education, Culture and Gaelic as our opening keynote on Thursday morning followed by our AGM. We will then hear from Our Hearings, Our Voice. There are two workshop sessions to attend and we will end the first day of our conference with a keynote from Micke Hermanson, an excellent and highly engaging speaker from Sweden who was seen by some colleagues at last year's ESHA conference.  His session on "Grej of the day" will share his approach to developing a thirst for learning amongst his pupils. 

On Friday we start the day with our first keynote from Donna McMaster, the CEO of Education Scotland, followed by another two workshop sessions. We will end the conference with our final keynote from Dr Mary E. Collins, Chartered Psychologist who will explore generational differences and navigating them as a leader in her keynote "Mind the Gap - Leading the Intergenerational Staffroom".

The conference will run from 9am - 4pm on Thursday and 9am - 2.45pm on Friday.

Delegate Rates:
Full Conference* - £280+VAT
Full Conference Room Share** - £235+VAT
Thursday and Friday conference days – £140+VAT
Thursday only – £80+VAT
Friday only - £80+VAT
Conference Dinner - £45+VAT  

This AHDS conference is a member's only event. 

* The Full Conference includes Thursday and Friday conference days and dinner, B&B on Thursday night.

AGM

By attending the AGM you will have the opportunity to shape the work of the Association. Post-holders for the National Executive and motions from members are heard and discussed. Motions have the capacity to make a big impact on the priorities of the Association and can be of great interest to the media and to key decision-makers.

AHDS members can choose to be kept informed of all our events. If you haven't yet opted in to receive emails about our events in your member profile, you can do so here. (For AHDS members only)
This booking form constitutes a binding agreement. Payment must be made in full prior to the event except when Local Authority policy doesn’t allow this. If this is the case then payment is due within one month of the date of the event. If you have an overdue invoice for a different event this will need to be paid before confirmation for this event can be given. If, 7 days after booking the conference, you have not received your booking confirmation, please call 07709 126328. Cancellations must be made in writing to training@ahds.org.uk. Cancellations made less than 4 weeks before the conference are liable for the full amount. Non arrivals are liable for the full fee.
